On Alberta Street.
Since 2019.

Two people and three shop animals in an old bike shop on NE Alberta Street, Portland. We stock what our own animals and our regulars use, and pack every order ourselves, the day it comes in.

A sandy dog asleep in the sun on the step of a green shopfront

Opening time, most mornings.

Tried at the shop first.
Then on the shelf.

Nothing goes on the shelf until a regular has tried it. Leads go out on morning walks for a month, beds get slept in, and toys get chewed until they give up or we do.

That is why the range is short: things we would buy again, each with a note from the dog or cat who tested it.

Orders are packed at the counter between customers. In Portland the van leaves at four; everywhere else ships the same day.

The shop crew.
On the floor most days.

Dot, the shop dog

Dot

Head of greeting

Meets every customer at the door and every delivery at the van. Has never missed either.

Pinto, the shop dog

Pinto

Quality control, treats

Tests every new treat before it goes on the shelf. Has rejected two, both for being too small.

Wren, the shop cat

Wren

Window, mostly

Sleeps in the window from noon to four and tests the beds when nobody is watching.

Come by.
Dogs welcome. Cats, if they insist.
